Saab Trackday 2005 Sponsors

Saabscene trackday 2005 will be the third annual, entirely non-profit making, Saab-exclusive trackday which builds on the success of our Anglesey track days.

Saab trackday 2005 is, to date, our biggest trackday requiring 40 Saabs on the track to make the cheapest day possible for all participants. Compare this to the 30 Saabs needed for Anglesey and you can see we had a challenge on our hands!

In order to ensure the succees of the event, we have welcomed sponsorship of Saab Trackday 2005. Sponsorship has been offered by Saab Owners Club of Great Britain Ltd (SOC) for which we would like to thank Dave Garnett (Chairman) and Dave Barrow (Motorsport). SOC has very generously offered to sponsor all SOC members to the sum of £20.

Any SOC members will be able to claim £20 sponsorship back from the Club, after the event. Forms are available from the competition secretary, contact details in Driver

In addition we are happy to offer a special deal to non-members who join the Club NOW.

For the normal annual subscription of £34, you will join for the remainder of this membership year (up to August) as well as the following year, AND be entitled to claim the £20 sponsorship for TD05. Your membership for next year will also entitle you to any sponsorship offered for the 2006 event...

Furthermore, Howe Engineering has generously covered the cost of an additional ARDS instructor. This is fantastic news from Howe Engineering as it means professionally qualified instructors will be available on the day to coach track novices and experienced track users alike. The purpose of Saab Trackday 2005 is for Saab owners to explore the potential of their vehicles in a legal and safe environment. Howe Engineering's sponsorship of an additional instructor helps us to achieve this.
