Saab Trackday 2006

Costs
Will be around £140-150 per car, based on 36-45 cars in 3 groups of 12-15.
There is no charge for helmet hire at Croft, however they do require a fully refundable deposit of around £50 per individual on the day.
We hope to include at least 2 Senior ARDS qualified instructors within the entry fee. Quality tuition is as valuable to the experienced Trackday driver as to the novice, especially at an unfamiliar circuit, so please take advantage of this.
Noise limit is 98dB, and while this is important they are not quite as strict as Goodwood. Most road cars will have no problem with this; the only problems at Goodwood were dedicated race/track cars with minimal silencing.
If we are fortunate enough to get sufficient people committed to drive, this will make for one of the best Saab Trackdays yet. Please give us your support, either as a driver or a spectator.
Restrictions
The event is open to any Saab driver in their Saab. It is not open to bikes or single seaters, however we are more than happy to share the day with competition cars and Trackday specials.
Any Saab driver who wishes to enter the event in a non-Saab car should first enquire to the organisers. We will endeavour to accommodate non-Saabs provided they are not completely out of kilter with the other cars that will be on track, but preference will always be given to Saabs should the event be over-subscribed. Non-Saab entrants should prepared for some gentle mockery however… |
